The City of Lewiston is seeking a forward-thinking, collaborative leader to serve as Chief of Police. Lewiston, Minnesota is a small, close-knit community in Winona County in southeastern Minnesota, known for its safe environment and strong community values. It is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Winona, 40 miles east of Rochester, and 45 miles northwest of La Crosse, providing convenient access to regional resources. The area is part of the scenic bluff country near the Mississippi River valley, known for its rolling hills and outdoor recreation opportunities., approximately 120 miles south of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area. The department includes 2 full-time and three part-time employees and operates with a budget of $333,717.
